Becky Rogers has spent the past 35 years working in senior leadership roles in Human Resource Management. She retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company United after leading the organization’s Learning & Organizational Development Department. Rogers was the transition lead for Communication, Change and Training for The Coca-Cola System’s transformational change initiative of bottler realignment. Before her role in L&D, she served as the Director of Human Resources for Coca-Cola’s Gulf Coast Region. Rogers has held senior HR positions in telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Rogers earned her MBA with distinction from the Jack Welch Management Institute. She is the past president of the Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management and is the recipient of the prestigious “Outstanding HR Professional of the Year” award.
Rogers consults companies on HR best practices and teaches a variety of college courses in Human Resources, Leadership, and Business Law. Her niche is executive coaching. Rogers is a certified mental health coach. Although it may sound cliche, the saying, "It's Lonely At the Top," has merit. Human Resource and C-Suite executives must keep information such as pending layoffs, Mergers & Acquisions, and the company's financial health confidential. The failure to confide in a trusted colleague may lead to workaholism, alcholism, and depression.
